Loudoun 2040 Comprehensive Plan
The Loudoun County Planning Commission
is currently considering the draft Loudoun 2040 Comprehensive Plan, which will serve as the county government's guide in land-use decisions and transportation policy for the future.
In July 2018, the Board of Supervisors
forwarded the draft plan to the Planning Commission for review. The Planning Commission will hold a number of work sessions on the plan as well as a public hearing tentatively set for November 2018. Meetings of the Planning Commission are posted on the Loudoun County Government Master Calendar

The Planning Commission is tentatively scheduled to present its recommendations on the comprehensive plan to the Board of Supervisors in January 2019.
Recent Transportation and Land Use Committee Meeting

The draft Loudoun 2040 Comprehensive Plan, which includes the General Plan and the Countywide Transportation Plan, was produced through the Envision Loudoun process, which included the work of a Board-appointed Stakeholders Committee. That committee has made a series of recommendations to the draft plan.
