- ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan
Loudoun County is gathering data to update its Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan and seeks input from individuals with disabilities, patrons, family members, caregivers, organizations, and agencies that support individuals with disabilities as well as from interested individuals with experience in accessibility needs and best practices. This community involvement will help the county with its self-evaluation process and allow better prioritization of current and future accessibility needs. The survey will be open until January 2, 2024.
The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) mandates that all State and Local Government agencies (referred to as Title II agencies) employing 50 or more individuals must undertake an ADA Self-Evaluation and Transition Plan. This requirement extends to all public entities, regardless of their size.
