  1. Home for the Holidays - Adoption Event

    December 14, 2019, 11:30 AM - 5:00 PM @ Loudoun County Animal Services

    Help us find homes for holidays for every animal at the shelter! We are waiving fees for our last, big adoption event of the year! From 11:30-5pm on Saturday, December 14th all animals will be free to adopt! We will have adorable, adoptable animals, festive give-aways and perhaps a surprise visit from Santa himself! We are teaming up with our local transfer partners to bring in as many dogs as possible for this event! Keep an eye on our website and Facebook page to see all the dogs available! All dogs currently in foster will be at the shelter for the adoption event.

  2. Commissioner of Accounts Fiduciary Meeting

    The Commissioner of Accounts holds monthly public outreach meetings in order for fiduciaries to ask questions or seek guidance regarding fiduciary responsibilities and estate administration in general. At each meeting, there will be a brief presentation and an opportunity for questions, thereafter. You are encouraged to attend if you need any assistance.

  1. Lighted Nights

    December 14, 2019, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Claude Moore Park

    (All ages) Holiday in the Park light displays will be available for viewing during a special extended opening of Claude Moore Park. Stop by on a Saturday for a leisurely night stroll (self-guided) down Vestals Gap Rd and into the historic district to enjoy the festive decorations. Take a peek into our Lanesville Ordinary which is decorated in the style of both Colonial and Victorian eras.

    (All ages) Ho! Ho! Ho! Join Santa and friends for doughnuts in the gym. We will decorate holiday ornaments, visit with St. Nick, jump in our moon bounces, play winter games and enjoy crawling through pop up tents. Remember to bring your camera! Advance registration required by 12/11.
