    Do you know where to find a first aid kit, what to do if you don’t feel well and who to call? Do you know what to do if your pet isn’t feeling well? Join humane educator, Amelia Monroe, to learn about the proper techniques for pet first aid. You will learn how to respond in pet medical emergencies, what steps to take and whom to contact. **This program is recommended for children 10 and up.     Loudoun County Animal Services is extremely grateful for the amazing community support we receive every day. Our volunteers are dedicated people from all parts of the county, who donate thousands of hours of personal time every year to help the animals of Loudoun County. How to become a volunteer: Attend a volunteer information session! Volunteer information sessions are held monthly at county libraries. Once you have attended an information session, the volunteer coordinator will provide you with information on orientation and getting started. The next volunteer information session will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2019, from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m in the large meeting room at Rust Library in Leesburg.
