    (All ages) Bluemont Community Center is partnering with MADD Loudoun to collect new and used pairs of shoes to benefit others. It is estimated that over 200 million pairs of sneakers are thrown away each year in America's landfills and that over 600 million adults worldwide live barefoot. We can touch the lives of others by donating our unwanted shoes (any condition). Bring shoes tied together to BCC during the month of March. Email Leigh.Macklin@loudoun.gov for more information.

  3. Jazz Infuzion-A Nod To The Crooners

    March 2, 2019, 8:00 PM @ Franklin Park Performing & Visual Arts Center

    (All ages) Six seasoned musicians that grew up on jazz, fusion, R&B, soul and east coast rock. Their performances cross boundaries with great music from Herbie Hancock to Wayne Shorter, Stevie Wonder to Steely Dan, James Taylor to Bobby Caldwell, and Bill Withers to Neil Larsen. Band members include Courtney Nero (saxophone) , Pat Mackin (guitar) , Tommy Ray (bass) , Stan McMullen (drums) , Michael Quinn (Keys and Piano) and Curtis McCain (percussion) . This evening’s show will feature some standards made famous by crooners like Frank Sinatra.
