  3. Fishing Derby

    April 13, 2019, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM @ Franklin Park

    (All ages) Get hooked on fishing during our first Franklin Park Fishing Derby. Kids Derby will be from 8am-12pm and Adult Derby will follow from 12pm-4pm. Day’s events will include the tournament (divided into age brackets), yard games, inflatables, food trucks and educational fishing demonstrations. Trout will be stocked up to 6 per person and can be taken home. All other species will be catch and release. Any person fishing that is 16 years or older will need a valid Fishing License.   5. Easter Bunny Hunt & Swim

    April 13, 2019, 9:30 AM - 11:00 AM @ Claude Moore Recreation and Community Center

    (Ages 2 - 14) Join the Easter Bunny for an egg hunt! The egg hunt will be held in our Leisure Pool. Parents are required to be in supervision of small children participating in the event. The age groups will be split up for the hunt. Don't forget your swimsuit and basket for your eggs! After the event please feel free to stay and enjoy our leisure pool.     (All ages) When the Quebe Sisters from Texas take a stage, and the triple threat fiddle champions start playing and singing in multi-part close harmony, audiences are transfixed, then blown away. They garner standing ovations at just about every show and it’s been that way since 2000, when they started fiddling together as pre-teens.
