The Clerk of the Circuit Court Gary M. Clemens invites the citizens of Loudoun County to join his Historic Records and Deed Research Division on Leesburg First Friday, September 6, 2019, in the county’s historic courthouse for a special veterans’ exhibition. This event is in conjunction with Loudoun County’s War Memorial Trust Fund Committee lighting dedication of Loudoun’s War Memorials on the courthouse grounds at 7:30pm.
This exhibition will include displays from the Thomas Balch Library, Oatlands Plantation and Gardens, Loudoun Freedom Center, General George C. Marshall House, and American Legion. The clerk’s Historic Records will display a Muster Roll in the War with Germany, Pension Records from the War of 1812, Mexican-American War, and a rare Revolutionary War Pension application from an African American solider.
Honoring Loudoun’s Heroes is sponsored by the Clerk of the Circuit Court, and Loudoun’s World War II 75th Anniversary Committee.

The Office of Elections will spend the day visiting residents of Sterling Virginia. Offering voter registration, updating addresses and absentee voting by mail. In addition, photo ID will be made available to registered voters who do not have one-for voting purposes only.
