Meetings

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Loudoun County advisory bodies are conducting "electronic meetings" under the Continuity of Government Ordinance (PDF) adopted by the Board of Supervisors on October 14, 2020. Meetings dates of this advisory body may differ from its normal schedule. Information on the actual meeting dates and times of this advisory body and on how to access the meeting remotely will be posted on the Loudoun County Government Calendar and at loudoun.gov/remoteparticipation. Agendas and related documents prepared for the meetings are posted below.

The Community Services Board (CSB) has 18 members who are appointed by the Board of Supervisors

Mission, Tenets & Bylaws

The Community Services Board, with the help of consumers, families and other stakeholders, has developed a statement of vision, mission and guiding principles (PDF) that is a framework for the work of the CSB and the Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services.

The CSB operates under Seven Tenets (PDF) with certain powers and duties. The CSB adheres to the Community Services Bylaws (PDF).
