Election Night Results

Results will start becoming available shortly after the polls close at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

General Information

A General Election will be held at all precincts in Loudoun County on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.  Appearing on the ballot will be the offices of Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, and all Members of the Virginia House of Delegates. There will also be two Loudoun County Bond Questions.  Additionally, voters residing in the Towns of Leesburg and Round Hill will vote in a Special Election to fill vacated Town Council seats.  See below for links to sample ballots.

Information for Voters

Polling Place: Vote at your normal polling location.
  • To verify registration and precinct information, visit the Virginia Department of Elections website by clicking here.
  • Please note that voters in the South Riding area of the Blue Ridge District may have changed precincts.  If you have been voting in the 313-Pinebrook, 314- Legacy, or 316-Creighton's Corner precincts please check your precinct location to see if you have been moved to a different voting location.

Hours: Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017.

Online Voter Registration Deadline: Monday, October 16, 2017 at 11:59 p.m. .

In-Person Voter Registration Deadline: Monday, October 16, 2017 at 5:00 p.m. 

By-Mail Voter Registration Deadline: Postmarked no later than October 16, 2017.

Deadlines:
- Last day to apply to have a ballot mailed to you is Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 5:00 p.m.
- Last day to vote an absentee ballot in person is Saturday, November 4, 2017.

Notice to voters using the US mail service to return ballotsThe United States Postal Service delivery standards have changed so that first class delivery is now two-to-five days and standard delivery is now two-to-nine days.  Please take this into consideration when returning your absentee ballot.  Apply early and return your ballot promptly to ensure it arrives in time to get counted!
