Overview

Potomack Lakes Sportsplex consists of over 40 acres for active use, located in the Cascades community, adjacent to Algonkian Regional Park. The complex includes lighted softball fields, irrigated soccer fields, as well as a large playground, hiking trail, picnic pavilion, concession kiosk, a meeting room and rest rooms. The picnic pavilion is available for rent.

The facility hosts athletic contests from March until November, which include county adult softball and soccer leagues and youth soccer as well as state, regional and national tournaments.

Dogs in Parks

Dogs are generally allowed in parks while on a physical leash and under the control of the owner, according to Chapter 612.13 of the Loudoun County Codified Ordinances; however, per Chapter 1092.21, there are certain areas within parks that dogs are prohibited.
