Individual Counseling & Alumni Group
Overview
Family Connections also offers family counseling sessions to help you tweak your family agreement and give you more individualized attention. Teen volunteers can be present in family counseling sessions if your teen is reluctant to participate. Your teen will have a chance to meet our teen volunteers while they are doing the Managing Your Difficult Teen group. All you have to do is talk to Family Connections Program Coordinator John Walker, or the Family Connections Counselor, Julie Sayuri Heinl, once you start coming to the Managing Your Difficult Teen group.

The Alumni Group
The Alumni Group is made up of teen and parent graduates of the Managing Your Difficult Teen group. We all meet Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. Most all of the volunteers and counselors are present to help tweak contracts, provide support and ideas. The group gives you and your teen the support to continue making changes. Everybody brings a dish to pass because food is good! After we eat, we get down to business.
