Countywide Transportation Plan
Route 15 CPAM
May 18, 2017
The Department of Transportation and Capital Infrastructure (DTCI) presented an item to the Board of Supervisors on the Route 15 Congestion Report on May 18, 2017. The staff report, which includes the Route 15 Congestion Report, and the copy teste (summary of Board’s action) are posted below. As part of the Board’s action, the Board directed staff to initiate a Countywide Transportation Plan (CTP) Amendment to reflect the necessary revisions to the CTP per the recommendations of the report. The Route 15 Congestion Report concluded that additional capacity (4 lanes) is needed on Route 15 from Battlefield Parkway to a point north of Whites Ferry Road. The CTP currently shows Route 15 as a 4-lane roadway from Battlefield Parkway north to Tutt Lane. This CPAM therefore proposes to extend the planned 4-lane section from Tutt Lane north to Montresor Road.
A webcast of the meeting is available here. The staff report and copy teste (summary of Board's action) are posted below.
