Early Intervention Services Program
About the Program
Babies begin to learn from the moment they are born. Every baby is different. Some babies may need more help to learn than others. By starting early, babies begin to develop the skills they will need for the rest of their lives.

The Loudoun County Early Intervention Services Program provides early intervention services for families, infants and toddlers, and birth through age two, who have a diagnosed handicapping condition, suspected delay in development, or atypical development. Children with vision and hearing impairments can also be served in this program.

Eligibility Determination
Each child referred for early intervention services receives a developmental screening and/or assessment to determine eligibility for the program. If a child is eligible, an Individualized Family Service Plan is developed to address the family's concerns, priorities, and resources.
