Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports
The Loudoun County Comprehensive Annual Report (CAFR) is prepared annually by the Division of Accounting and Financial Analysis in the Department of Management and Financial Services.
The report identifies the county's financial position and marks the country's financial activities over the previous fiscal year.
The most recent CAFR, for FY 2015, is online as are the CAFRs for each year dating back to FY 2001.
The county is consistently recognized by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the CAFR. The CAFRs are consistently judged to have met the high standards of the awards program for governmental accounting and financial reporting. The reports have also been cited for demonstrating a constructive "spirit of full disclosure" to clearly communicate the county's financial story.
