Construction and Transportation Division
The Construction and Transportation Division provides contract and project management services during the construction phase of the county’s capital projects. The division is responsible for:
    • Planning, coordinating and controlling the construction phase of Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) projects in order to produce a functionally and financially viable project that will be completed on-time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. 
    • Performing all day-to-day project management and contract administration for the construction phase of county facilities in accordance with the adopted CIP.
    • In consultation with the Office of Transportation Services, performing all day-to-day project management and contract administration for the design phase of select transportation projects. 
    • Performing on-site activities to ensure quality care and quality assurance for all CIP projects to include daily reporting, managing adverse field conditions, maintaining contract record documents, and coordinating all contractor site activities.
