Criminal Cases
From 1757, until American Independence in 1776, all criminal cases were referred to as; The King vs. (Defendant Name) and from 1776 to the present all criminal cases are; The Commonwealth vs. (Defendant Name).

Many of these case files include the court’s summons, judgments, bonds and the description of charges and sentences.
