The Board of Supervisors approved ZOAM 2016-0002 "Data Centers in the CLI" (Commercial Light Industry).  The staff report for the Board of Supervisors public hearing item is posted below, as well as the Board's copy teste (summary of Board's action).
As a result of the approval of the Zoning Ordinance Amendment, changes to the 1993 Revised Zoning Ordinance will be forthcoming. 
June 28, 2016
The Loudoun County Planning Commission held a public hearing on the "Data Centers in the CLI" (Commercial Light Industry) Zoning Ordinance Amendment (ZOAM) on June 28, 2016. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission voted to forward the ZOAM to the Board of Supervisors. The item prepared for the public hearing is online.

April 5, 2016

The Board of Supervisors adopted the Resolution of Intent to Amend Zoning Ordinance Amendment 2016-0002 to reclassify the use “Data Center” from a permitted use to a special exception use in the Commercial Light Industry (CLI) zoning district at the April 5, 2016, Board of Supervisors Business Meeting. The Board item and Summary of Board’s Action are below.
