Police-Directed Towing Advisory Board
Police-Directed Towing Market Survey (Now Closed)
Tow companies in Loudoun County and neighboring jurisdictions were invited to participate in a market survey about towing rates. The survey results will be used to form preferred pricing in a Request for Proposal (RFP) process. The RFP will be issued in the fall. Vendors will not receive any preference in the RFP process for completing this survey.

    The Police-Directed Towing Advisory Board was created by the Board of Supervisors in 2012 to make recommendations regarding county regulation of law enforcement directed tows in Loudoun County.

    The dates, times, and locations of meetings of the Police-Directed Towing Advisory Board will be posted on the Loudoun County Government Master Calendar at least three days prior to the meeting.

    The advisory board is composed of five members, each from Loudoun County. Per Virginia state statute, the board includes representation from law enforcement, the towing industry, and a member of the public.  All serve as at-large members.  Terms are concurrent with the terms of the current Board of Supervisors.
