The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors is tentatively scheduled to consider the Transportation and Land Use Committee's recommendation concerning the Temporary/Political Signs Zoning Ordinance Amendment (ZOAM) Tuesday, December 6, 2016, at its business meeting which is scheduled to begin at 5:00 p.m. in the Board Room of the first floor of the Loudoun County Government Center, 1 Harrison Street, S.E., in Leesburg. The meeting will be televised on Comcast Government Channel 23, Open Band Channel 40, and Verizon FiOS Channel 40. It will also be available for viewing through the Loudoun County webcast system.  The staff report will be posted once finalized.

The Transportation and Land Use Committee (TLUC) voted to forward ZOAM-2016-0005 "Temporary/Political Signs" to a Board Business Meeting for action.  The meeting may be viewed here and the staff report is posted below.

July 26, 2016

The Loudoun County Planning Commission held a work session on the "Temporary/Political Signs" Zoning Ordinance Amendment (ZOAM) on July 26, 2016. At the conclusion of the work session, the Planning Commission voted to forward the item to the Board of Supervisors with a recommendation of approval. The meeting may be viewed here and the item prepared for the public hearing is online: 

June 28, 2016
The Loudoun County Planning Commission held a public hearing on the "Temporary/Political Signs" Zoning Ordinance Amendment (ZOAM) on June 28, 2016. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission voted to forward the ZOAM to the July work session for further discussion and to address the outstanding issues identified in the staff report. April 5, 2016
The Board of Supervisors adopted the Resolution of Intent to Amend Zoning Ordinance Amendment 2016-0005 to revise the “temporary sign” regulations in the Sign Requirements Matrix so that all types of temporary signs are subject to the same regulations at the April 5, 2016, Board of Supervisors business meeting.
