The Loudoun County Planning Commission held a work session on the "Temporary/Political Signs" Zoning Ordinance Amendment (ZOAM) on July 26, 2016. At the conclusion of the work session, the Planning Commission voted to forward the item to the Board of Supervisors with a recommendation of approval. The Loudoun County Planning Commission held a public hearing on the "Temporary/Political Signs" Zoning Ordinance Amendment (ZOAM) on June 28, 2016. At the conclusion of the public hearing, the Planning Commission voted to forward the ZOAM to the July work session for further discussion and to address the outstanding issues identified in the staff report. April 5, 2016
The Board of Supervisors adopted the Resolution of Intent to Amend Zoning Ordinance Amendment 2016-0005 to revise the “temporary sign” regulations in the Sign Requirements Matrix so that all types of temporary signs are subject to the same regulations at the April 5, 2016, Board of Supervisors business meeting.
