Metro Safetrack Project-Loudoun Bus Schedules
From November 28 - December 21, 2016, Metrorail’s SafeTrack program will reduce the frequencies of trains at the Wiehle-Reston East Metro Station from six minutes to approximately every 20 minutes. Be prepared for crowded trains, crowded platforms and possible rail delays. Loudoun County Transit's Potomac Falls Service (Routes 901 and 902) is being re-routed from West Falls Church to the Ballston Metro Station. The new schedule is below. The other schedules on the page are existing schedules highlighted to assist commuters with the new rail times.

Monday, November 28 - Wednesday, December 21: All Potomac Falls Services will be re-routed from the West Falls Church Metro station to the Ballston Metro Station. The reduction in departure times from 6 minutes to 20 minutes will likely cause trains at West Falls Church to be very crowded and cause riders to have difficulty boarding. To address the issue, Loudoun has obtained bus stop space near the Ballston metro center. A temporary schedule for service to/from Ballston has been created.

The schedules linked below show Loudoun County bus runs highlighted in yellow that match the 20-minute intervals for easier connections. All local routes will depart as scheduled:
