November 6, 2018 General Election
General Information

A General Election will be held at all precincts in Loudoun County on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.  Appearing on the ballot will be the offices of US Senator, US Congressperson 10th District, two Constitutional Amendments, and two Loudoun County Bond Questions.  Additionally, voters residing in the Town of Middleburg will vote in a Special Election to fill a vacated Town Council seat.

Information for Voters

Polling Place: Vote at your normal polling location.
   To verify registration and precinct information visit the Virginia Department of Elections website by clicking here.
   Please note that voters in the South Riding area of the Blue Ridge District may have changed precincts.

Hours: Polls will be open from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 6, 2018.

Online Voter Registration Deadline: Monday, October 15, 2018 at 11:59 p.m.  Click here to register online.

In-Person Voter Registration Deadline: Monday, October 15, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. 

By-Mail Voter Registration Deadline: Postmarked no later than October 15, 2018.

Absentee Voting Information

Ballots for both In-Person and By-Mail Absentee Voting will be available no later than Friday, September 21, 2018.

Deadlines:
- Last day to apply to have a ballot mailed to you is Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 5:00 p.m.
- Last day to vote an absentee ballot in person is Saturday, November 3, 2018.

Notice to voters using the US mail service to return ballotsThe United States Postal Service delivery standards have changed so that first class delivery is now two-to-five days and standard delivery is now two-to-nine days.  Please take this into consideration when returning your absentee ballot.  Apply early and return your ballot promptly to ensure it arrives in time to get counted!
