Agricultural District Advisory Committee
General Purpose
The Agricultural District Advisory Committee (ADAC) is tasked with advising the Planning Commission and the Board of Supervisors in the creation, review, modification continuation or termination of agricultural and forestal districts within the county.  Specifically, this committee renders expert advice as to the nature of farming and forestry and agricultural and forestal resources within the district and their relation to the entire locality.


There are 10 members appointed at-large by the Board of Supervisors:
  • 1 commissioner of revenue or property assessment officer
  • 1 member of the local governing board
  • 4 landowners engaged in agriculture or forestal production
  • 4 other landowners of the locality

All terms end December 2019
