Remote Public Participation

  • Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission and other advisory bodies are conducting "electronic meetings" under the Continuity Ordinance (PDF) adopted by the Board April 15, 2020.
  • Participating in Meetings:  Members of the public who would like to participate in electronic meetings in which public comment is on the agenda are encouraged to do so remotely in keeping with the county’s efforts to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Follow the instructions below for viewing and participating in public meetings remotely.
  • Viewing Meetings:
    • Some meetings - including the Board of Supervisors’ business meetings, public hearings and committee meetings; and the Planning Commission’s public hearings and work sessions - are available to watch online: loudoun.gov/meetings.
    • Some meetings - including the Board of Supervisors’ business meetings, public hearings and committee meetings; and the Planning Commission’s public hearings - are on TV: Comcast Government Channel 23, Open Band Channel 40 and Verizon FiOS Channel 40.
    • Some electronic public meetings may be viewed by webinar only; follow the instructions below for viewing and participating in public meetings remotely.
  • Meeting dates and times also are posted on the Loudoun County Government Calendar.

August 10, 2020: Historic District Review Committee - 6:00 p.m.

The Historic District Review Committee will hold an electronic meeting Monday, August 10, 2020, at 6:00 p.m.

The Lovettsville Room will be open for the members of the public who wish to attend the meeting in person, but social distancing measures are in place at the Loudoun County Government Center.

August 17, 2020: Parks, Recreation  & Open Space Board, Linear Parks and Trails Subcommittee -4:30 - 5:20 p.m.

The Linear Parks and Trails subcommittee of the Parks, Recreation and Open Space Board will hold an electronic meeting Monday, August 17, 2020, at 4:30 p.m.

The  Parks, Recreation and Open Space Board will hold an electronic meeting Monday, August 17, 2020, at 5:30 p.m.

Anyone who would ike to provide comments during the electronic meeting is asked to log in or call in no later than 15 minutes before the start of the meeting if possible. This will allow time for the moderator to conduct a roll-call, answer questions and troubleshoot any issues.
