Remote Public Participation

  • Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Board of Supervisors, Planning Commission and other advisory bodies are conducting "electronic meetings" under the Continuity of Government Ordinance (PDF) adopted by the Board on October 14, 2020.
  • Participating in Meetings:  Members of the public who would like to participate in electronic meetings in which public comment is on the agenda are encouraged to do so remotely in keeping with the county’s efforts to stem the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19). Follow the instructions below for viewing and participating in Board of Supervisors and Planning Commission public meetings remotely.
  • Viewing Meetings:
    • Some meetings - including the Board of Supervisors’ business meetings, public hearings and committee meetings; and the Planning Commission’s public hearings and work sessions - are available to watch online: loudoun.gov/meetings.
    • Some meetings - including the Board of Supervisors’ business meetings, public hearings and committee meetings; and the Planning Commission’s public hearings - are on TV: Comcast Government Channel 23, Open Band Channel 40 and Verizon FiOS Channel 40.
    • Some electronic public meetings may be viewed by webinar only; follow the instructions below for viewing and participating in public meetings remotely.
  • Meeting dates and times also are posted on the Loudoun County Government Calendar.

November 5, 2020: Board of Supervisors Business Meeting, 5:00 p.m.

The Loudoun County Board of Supervisors is scheduled to hold an electronic meeting Tuesday, November 5, 2020, at 5:00 p.m.

  • Viewing: Comcast Government Channel 23, Open Band Channel 40 and Verizon FiOS Channel 40. It will be livestreamed at loudoun.gov/meetings.
  • Participating: To sign up for electronic public input, contact the Office of the County Administrator at 703-777-0200. Instructions will be provided to individuals who sign up for electronic public input prior to the November 5 business meeting. If you wish to participate electronically, sign up no later than noon Tuesday, November 5, 2020.

The Board Room in the Loudoun County Government Center will be open for those who wish to participate in or view the meeting in person, with social distancing measures in effect.
