Loudoun County continues its series of opioid overdose reversal trainings. The next session of the “REVIVE!” training is scheduled for late November.
Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education for Virginia

Loudoun County Department of Mental Health, Substance Abuse and Developmental Services (MHSADS)

The free, one-hour training covers:
Register for the Training
- Signs of opioid overdose.
- How to respond to an opioid overdose emergency with the administration of naloxone, a drug that can be used to treat narcotic overdoses in emergency situations.
- Anyone who completes the training will be eligible to receive free naloxone nasal spray. Representatives of the Loudoun County Health Department will be available after the training to provide a supply of naloxone to those registered participants who completed the training.
The training is open to everyone. Anyone who uses opioids or knows someone who is using opioids is encouraged to attend. Seating is limited. Those interested in attending must pre-register. The training is open only to pre-registered participants

REVIVE! is the Opioid Overdose and Naloxone Education program for the Commonwealth of Virginia. MHSADS, the Loudoun County Community Services Board and the Loudoun County Health Department are sponsoring the local training session.
